On a visit to The Lawrence, students collaborate to investigate new ideas as they become scientists and engineers for a day.
We partner with school districts to support science learning. We offer district-wide elementary, middle, and high school programs, either virtually or in-person.
We collaborate with a range of partners to innovate in science education. Together, we go further.
Are you a creative innovator with functional, technical know-how who enjoys hands-on building, making, problem solving, inventing, and learning new things? We are looking for a dynamic team member to work with us on the design, development, fabrication and maintenance of unique, interactive, hands-on exhibitions and apparatus that bridge the playful, open choice learning environment of our Science Center exhibit floor with math and science concepts for all ages.

The Lawrence Hall of Science Laboratory Mechanician Helper is responsible for fostering a positive team-oriented work environment with an emphasis on public service and the mission of the 7-day-a-week program of the Lawrence Hall of Science.
