[Students] Our success depends on our talented and passionate staff, including the students and volunteers on our team. We are always looking for individuals interested in helping us deliver exciting, hands-on experiences for learners of all ages.
Summer Camp Public Education Specialist. The Summer Public Education Specialist position is an ideal opportunity for undergraduate / graduate students with a science-oriented mind and a relationship-oriented personality. In this position you will facilitate fun, engaging, and meaningful hands-on science learning for in-person camps and teen programs at The Lawrence. It is a great opportunity for professional growth and you will gain valuable experience in teaching science, technology, engineering, and math.
[Teen Volunteers] Teens entering 9th grade and above can volunteer for the summer at the Hall. They can help promote science and math learning by engaging visitors in hands-on science and math activities.
[Adult Volunteers] We’re always looking for science-lovers to help with hands-on activities at our special events, deliver interactive science demos, present at our Science On a Sphere (SOS)® exhibit, assist in our education workshops, and more.
This position is an entry level financial analyst. The Finance Analyst I will assist the development of the departmental annual budget and monthly forecasts, prepare financial journal entries, produce various funds/accounts reconciliations and to prepare monthly financial reports.
